Rookie League - Create solid foundation of skills

  • Newer or less skilled players aged 4-6
  • Regular attendance required
  • Teams formed by ages
  • Jugs style machine pitch
  • Equal playing time and position rotation
  • 10 fielders

 

 

A-Minor League - Good competition while building skills

  • Developing players aged 7-8 
  • Intro to Kid Pitch 
  • High attendance required
  • Must attend evaluations
  • Coach Pitch, Pitching Machine and Player pitch
  • Equal playing time
  • 10 fielders
  • Some base running restrictions
  • Some travel within Little League District 1

 

Minor League - Good competition while building skills

  • Developing players aged 7-11
  • High attendance required
  • Must attend evaluations
  • Player pitch
  • Equal playing time
  • 9 fielders
  • Some base running restrictions
  • Travel within Little League District 1

 

Major League: High level of competition

  • High level of play for players aged 10-12
  • Selection via tryouts, must attend
  • Continued fundamental skill development
  • Player pitch
  • No equal playing time
  • 9 fielders
  • Significant travel within Little League District 1
